Appointment for tomorrow with the XPEL dealer for all around including windshield for their Ceramic XR Plus. They've worked on many Tesla's and confirmed that only the roof glass in IR treated.

Before seeing the car Tesla likes to be done with financing and payments. This week, my brother didn't update financing details neither responded to the delivery request and Tesla unassigned the VIN and requested him to click "I'm ready" link on his App when he's ready to take the delivery.

It was around 90 days before but looks like its less than 60 days now

Reject the delivery or don't schedule the delivery when you're prompted to and they'll remove the VIN and get you a newer one in their next shipment. Not sure if 519's will get the newer door trim, could be on the border

What a roller coaster man! I'm glad you got the car after all this fiasco. My delivery went pretty smooth. Tesla Tampa just took my credit union letter in which I need to write the amount financed and sign. Tesla will get the money after sending that paper over.

Took delivery! Except few smudges here and there on paint, everything looks good. Created a service appointment right there. Got the new door trims and mobile charger. Ride was pretty smooth.

Thanks and same to you as well :) Suncoast Credit Union gave me a document that Tesla needs to fill with amount financed and I need to sign it at delivery. Tesla will then send that document to bank and get the funds wired to them.

Sorry to hear that! Its unacceptable on Tesla's part to not give flexibility for few more days when a customer waits for more than 3+ months.

My Cousin ordered MYP and trade in value offered for his Model 3 LR last month was 38K but today its at 31K. He obviously rejected the offer.

I called the local delivery center to see if I can take the delivery on Sunday. That's when the rep told me that the car is not in the center yet and it can be here any day.

No word yet from Tampa delivery center. EDD changed to "22-27" yesterday and today "23-27". Was told by the delivery center personal on Saturday that my car is not in yet, maybe around 2 days away . Train delayed? :)

Today EDD window changed to Aug 21st-27th (earlier was 24-28).

7-8K is a lot of money for Model Y. I'll go with Ceramic window tint for FL heat and probably Ceramic coat for bug stains and lawn sprinkler systems.

Did you get the VIN? Sometimes getting the VIN and delivery happens pretty fast.

lol...Couldn't find anyone with Suncoast Credit union transaction. The document issued doesn't look like a check but a form that Tesla needs to fill and mail/fax back to the bank to get the payment. Not sure if Tesla is going to deliver the car this way.

I don't think anyone was offered a Long range for a performance reservation, its the other way around! Upgrade the reservation to MYP and get the Y sooner. Some MYP are shipped with performance tires that get very hard like "rock" in icy conditions bcos of rubber compound characteristics. Some...

I don't think there's a price increase if one rejects delivery for flaws in the car. Its just that the next delivery schedule might be few weeks or months away.
