MYLR Blue/Black 19 Gems Ordered mid April. EDD changed last night from 1st September to 15th October To 3rd September to 30th September. Fingers are well and truly crossed it doesn't slip again as original EDD was June 1st to June 15th.

Not sure if I'm reading too much in to this or if I am misremembering, but looking at my account, I think the wording has changed. It now says "We are drafting up your invoice" where I'm sure it previously said we are drafting your contract. Does anyone else have this change it has it always...

Just noticed, you can tell if they are right hand drive or left by which side of the car the white bit of paper is left on the dashboard. 2m49s into video - are right hand drive cars. There are lots of lefty's though.

Can anyone tell me if the model y's coming from Shanghai have the LFP battery? You can tell this by looking at your charging screen. If there is no recommended daily trip limit (i.e. 80%), you have the LFP batteries as you can constantly charge these to 100%.

Obviously I don't fully understand as I'm no electrician, but are you saying that the mobile connector that comes with a Tesla shouldn't be used because of possible shock risk? Why would they provide you with one of this is the case? Or are you saying the extension is the problem? If so...

I think this is overkill and not needed with a mobile connector charging at appx 7kwh. This article EV Charging at Work: Do I Need a PEN Fault Device? suggests that only 22kwh and above (3 phase) chargers need pen protection.

The garage is detached from my house meaning there are 2 footpaths between my garage and my house. So I would need planning permission to lay such a cable to carry 60a.

I got it from b&q. It's prismatic , 4mm 40a 3 core single phase armoured cable. Each wire has 7 thick ish strands of solid copper. Essentially it's an outdoor extension cable with a higher rating. Looking at it now, I'm confident it's not 12 gauge but it's quality wire.

I would if I could, but as mentioned in a previous post, my garage is detached and has no power in it. The wall chargers require a direct connection to your fuse box which is 20 meters away from my garage.

Unfortunately my outside socket is fixed to the wall and has no rcd. However it does go to my main breaker box which have rcd's. However I thought having an rcd anywhere would work. Maybe I need to rethink again.

Thanks for the link, but the price for this box is crazy expensive. There are other waterproof boxes which are a fraction of the price. I didn't realize that they generated a lot of heat but makes sense. I will make sure I find an oversized box with ventilation now. Thanks.
