I was surprised and fit into the EOQ push. Went from delivery in Oct-Nov to issued a VIN and picking up my MYLR this week. Excited! And also now scrambling to get everything done.

So basic question about insurance, do you need to have a specific Tesla insurance set up prior to picking up the car? Do you just call your insurance company and it’s pretty quick over the phone once Tesla confirms delivery date?

That’s good news! I have the same config as you, but mine was pushed back to December-February (OD: 3/10) a few weeks ago. I should be getting it from Fremont though - are you east coast?

I thought that they changed this so that you can no longer remove FSD. Is that not the case?

Did you order FSD? My LR blue got pushed as well, but I don’t have FSD.

Can’t people with existing orders just delay delivery until after end of the year? The income limit of $150k/$300k joint also really limits this credit for teslas. Are people out there really buying a $70k car with an income under $150?

same. I would like the car sooner, but it’s going to be a family car and I see constant agreement that the ride quality on the MYLR is superior comfort than the MYP. Every day use is worth more to me than an extra few months of driving.
