Eh kWh is just kWh/h. A charging rate of 50 kW means the charging output is 50 kWh per hour. It’s like saying doing 65 miles in a 70 instead of doing 65 miles per hour. Not a big deal.

Almost anyone looking to buy a high end EV will be getting a Tesla. This product is designed for an entirely different market segment, people who want to pay half as much for a car that’s half as good.

You can sell the car or the reservation for a profit. There’s huge demand for this car, especially with the year-long lead time. I would check out several For Sale threads to gauge how much you can charge. There’s also a whole sticky thread on transferring reservations. I’ve done one myself.

If I were cheap and still wanted an EV, I’d likely put my money on a Bolt. I believe a car maker becomes better following a recall as they learn from experience and try to minimize chances of another expensive recall. Glad to see another proponent of nuclear energy on here. If we want to replace oil and gas as energy sources, nuclear is the way to go. Solar, wind, and thermal are all expensive due to low efficiency, while hydro causes massive ecological problems.

I don’t know if I care that much about software. Driving experience and range are what made me get a Tesla. I’m still exploring the software functionalities even after driving thousands of miles which I absolutely enjoyed.
