I agree. I simply am not THAT interested in the state of degradation of my battery and monitoring every trip in my Tesla. Now, if I had a teenager driving my car, or a relationship partner you were suspicious of, it has some utility, but hopefully you don't have those concerns.

I have the same issue with my new Model 3. I have a service appointment next week for a faulty horn. Will ask about it then. I will try to post a picture if I can. My neighbor who also owns a Model 3 thinks it's dust from the new brakes, washing off when it rains. I'll post what the service...
