4 days into ownership and had to drive it today over a load of ice for the roads near my house (one car crashed this morning on similar stretch at low speed). Was amazed how well it handled it. At very low speed it had no issues at all. Overall only about 200 miles in but absolutely loving it...

Tomorrow home delivery for me. Given 12-4 slot. Very nice driver from WDC called earlier and asked if I minded if he came a little earlier….. Been waiting 6 months buddy…. I’d take delivery this evening if I could!

543 vin batch for me. Which seems earlier than most (assuming they are sequential!). Maybe that means it has USS…. Tbh do not know what to hope for with that… Not having parking sensors for the first time on a car since about 2002 against not having the improved cameras!

Received a reg and vin today too. Delivery 13 December - order from 30 June. I assumed it was on Glovis safety given when I got told of the hidden vin etc. Assumed that means they may register and give reg whilst at sea. Number plate not the best tho 🤣

Car looks great! I must admit I assumed app access happened instantly on handover? Do you have to ask lease company separately for this? Defects meant to be reported within 100 miles (and maybe 24 hours?) I believe so waiting a few days for the app access doesn’t sound ideal.

Having not received a text from Tesla to say coming etc (and in no way worrying 😉) but today got a text to confirm it’s being delivered on 13 December! Excited to see each of your cars over next few weeks as the excitement builds!!

Told today by Tesla car allocated so a little excited. Delivery mid December is all they will say for now. Reckon that means Glovis safety for me. Time to get ordering some accessories!

Agreed it’s complete nonsense re maintenance and just a way of justifying more but does include tyres which could help. Insurance was good value at least as well, seen some getting massive quotes. Also includes things like roadside recovery….. won’t be overly chuffed if I have to be using that...

We are with love electric at work (run through Lex) and (if it ever arrives😬!) will pay £525 for MYLR, 10k miles including insurance maintenance etc (40% tax payer). When we ordered it was about the same for both cars. Higher insurance on the quicker model 3 maybe? Or possibly just shifting...
