Those are only good for the Earlier Model S or X. They don't work on the 2021-2022 Refresh. The 2022+ refresh use the Ethernet port like the current Model 3/Y.

Both Tesware and Toolbox are browser based. People have used Macs and PCs with Windows 10/11 to do the configs just fine.

You can power them either off of the 12v cigarette lighter in the console or hardwire to a 12V source. I went the hardwire route.

The lights won't work on SOP15 (Feb/March 22 Build Cars) or newer, but should work on the SOP14 cars (Feb '21-'22 Build Cars). So, they are probably thinking that you're asking about the Re-Refresh 22 cars and not the older ones.

The taillights I installed are in the quoted link in the previous post including how I did it. It's all there. That said, the Alpharex lights on TSportline are a more straightforward/cheaper option.

Yes, externally it’s the same connectors. They just changed the internal electronics. Disconnect all the connectors, unbolt, slide the part up and out. Then reverse for the new part. Then do the programming/software redeploy/calibration routines.

Seems like they may have removed the bumper retention bracket that comes on the bottom of the light. It looks like the bumper is sagging.

Currently unknown if the Matrix lights will work on the older pre-refresh cars. Also don’t know if the mounting hole is there either.

I doubt any aftermarket company will do that level of testing on their products. Especially given the variation of governing body requirements globally.
