My dad who ordered a M3LR (white/black) on Feb 21 for Brisbane just got a delivery date today (18th August to 1st Sept) and asked to pay. Previously it was saying August to October. Likely a cancelled order from someone preferring a MY but will let you know when I find out more info. -

Yes you can transfer money in bit sized amounts to ensure it appears in your Tesla account. I did this last year when buying a 3 as was nervous about getting scammed. It takes about 24 hours after you transfer money for it to appear in your Tesla account.
