Who's using what for winter tires for the PNW?

I was quoted on that one at Costco, but it's $499 per tire vs $330 per tire for the Contis. That's pretty substantial.

Who's using what for winter tires for the PNW?

I'm opting for the Viking Contact 7. Comparable Nokians, Michelins, and Pirellis are as much as $150 more per tire and reviews either aren't any better or there aren't any really relevant reviews at all yet. I think this article clinched it. (It's in Norwegian, but you can either learn Norwegian...

    Canada Waiting Room

Just got an update too. ETA Sept 13. Phew, I was hoping I didn't have to wait long. I've already spent $25 charging at superchargers over the last 300km :)

Who's using what for winter tires for the PNW?

Hey Folks, We're getting to that time of year again - gotta consider winter tires for my MY LR. I'm interested in hearing what people have been using in the PNW - our snow tends to be heavy and wet and turns to ice quickly, there's lots of rain to deal with the rest of the time, and we have...

    Canada Waiting Room

I reached out to Tesla and was told that I'll receive a mobile charger "in the near future" and that its a big focus of theirs. But the near future is kinda vague. People will live on the Moon in the near future. My kids will graduate from high school in the near future. :) I want to know if...

    Canada Waiting Room

Sept 3 actually. I just got a bit concerned when I went through the order process on a new car and the mobile charger wasn't available until December and I hope they're not related. I certainly can't wait until December for a charger! I don't want to start rumours - just seeing what others are...

    Canada Waiting Room

For those who received the $255 order credit for the mobile charger (I think the car should have come with a charger considering I ordered in November 2021) how long was the wait for delivery? Or has anyone received it yet who ordered in the last week or so? I don't even think I have a 'shipped'...

    Canada Waiting Room

Tesla called this morning to let me know that the hood of the car appears to have some damage they discovered when they were detailing the car. I could defer delivery for 2 weeks or take it now and wait a couple of months for repair. We'll take the car today. I rode past this morning and was...

    Canada Waiting Room

I had a 'gift card' show up in the email today, but I'm hoping I get a charger (I should, according to Tesla, but we'll see I guess). I don't want to redeem it until I see whether there's a charger in the car or not.

    Canada Waiting Room

Actually, for those who have taken delivery recently - does Tesla install the front license plate? We have one of those quick bandit brackets I'd rather use. Anything else to be aware of, or surprised by?

Pickup scheduled in Vancouver at 3:30 this Saturday, Sept 3. I hope 3 is a lucky number.

    Canada Waiting Room

I appear to have a VIN! (Checking source code on account) but no delivery date yet in Vancouver. The delivery window has tightened to Sept 1-5. Looks like an F535 build?

    Canada Waiting Room

Your spec looks exactly like mine, except I ordered on Nov 13. :( Happy you got your text - hopefully they've bundled up all the eastern cars and all the western cars are coming next!

    Canada Waiting Room

My estimated deliver to Vancouver changed just recently to Aug 27-Sept10. I haven't received any update or VIN yet, so I'm anticipating it'll be in the latter part of that window, but the Tesla advisor said the dates get pretty accurate when the window is that small and that close. I ordered a...

    Canada Waiting Room

My Nov 13 2021 ordered MY (Grey, 5 seater, black interior, trailer hitch) was Aug 5-Sept10 for a long time but recently jumped to Sept 7-Oct19. Not sure how much stock to put in the estimation. I'll probably have to get a set of snow tires ready to install on the car as soon as I get it. :)
