RWD models got shipped to Japan where LR customers are spitting chips because all the LR RHD cars found their way to AU customers.

Anyone care to speculate as to why LR models are not the talk of the town? They’re more expensive than the SR+ albeit cheaper than the P models but one might think they’d manufacture the expensive cars first working their way through the order book most expensive to least.

The sailing schedule is pointing at Chabang with calls in Singapore and Malaysia so I suggest not to AU. Not a lot of chatter in the Japanese Model Y delivery forums.

Ordered 9th of April and so there is no doubt that the Shanghai lockdown has delayed the original timeline. This current upgrades to Giga Shanghai have also contributed to delays. Appreciate the information though. I reckon you are right - likely to be October.

That would line up quite neatly with credible reports of M3RWD VIN's dropping in Tokyo. Japan M3LR customers are free to resume pounding of sand.

There are reports of folks expecting to recieve their M3RWD in the first few days of August in Tokyo. Mid April orders. Not a skerrick of information about M3LR 😔
