Good question; Tesla was very sparing with details, but a few comments strongly implied the whole rear motor assembly was replaced.- webphil

Add me to the "is it still uncommon?" list - 2021 MYP, rear motor inverter failed at 15k miles. Replaced under warranty, took a couple weeks.- webphil

2022 MYP Motor Failure
Mine failed at 15000 miles on a bridge. Same warnings and power shutdown stuff. Supposedly “rear motor inverter failure”… Tesla Raleigh took around 2 weeks to replace. To give them credit, they provided an Enterprise rental during the repairs. Kind of unnerving wondering if it’ll happen again…...- webphil
