Just got a text saying there’s been a transport delay and my Saturday pickup has been delayed. Happily though they’re opening on Sunday for my and presumably other affected Melbourne pickups.

Same here, the only update I’ve seen since getting the pre-delivery text on Monday is my EDD being push back by two days to match today’s date

Heard from someone here who took delivery in Melbourne is that the car isn’t registered until a day before the delivery, but not sure how long the VicRoads website takes to reflect that

Question for Victorians who’ve taken delivery or got their delivery texts, did your VIN appear in the VicRoads rego check or your VicRoads account before you got the text? Wondering if the car is registered before they book a delivery slot (and if so another website to keep checking 😂)

The Bay Anchorage Outer is one of the waiting points controlled by the port, so Viking Passama will still dock before Morning Crystal. MC might anchor there for a few days before it’s scheduled arrival on the 16th (according to Armacup but that could change)

Melbourne bound cars are usually offloaded at Port Kembla and then trucked down to the delivery centre. The ship itself is scheduled to dock in Melbourne on August 13
