Pick up went smoothly yesterday. No issues with the car. Wife is a little nervous about the drive home from work today. Last time, the day after pick up, she was driving home from work when she was rear-ended, totaling the car. I told her that everything is fine. Very unlikely to happen again.

Last week, we finally got our settlement from the crash that totaled our Tesla. (Not my wife's fault.) We ordered on the 18th and my wife just texted me and said we got a VIN today (20th): 413xxx! What a turn around. We're shocked.

If you finance with Tesla, then taxes will be included, not separate. So price + taxes + fees - down payment = amount to finance. Hope that helps.

Interesting. I tried looking at the dashcam video of the crash and nothing. There is no footage on the drive of anything, let alone the crash. My wife pulled the drive out of the glove box before the car was towed away.

Sad news. My wife was driving back from work today, day after delivery, and was rear-ended on the highway in what would turn out to be a six car crash. Thankfully, Tesla Tyson kept my wife safe and she was not hurt. Unfortunately, Tyson will be going to Tesla heaven.

When entering the date, you have to click done afterwards. It's basically two confirmation steps. I was running into the same problem until I realized this.

Do you have a P in the tenth spot of your VIN? If so, it's a 2023 year model. They switched to 2023 year model on Oct 4th, which is also when they started with the new bumpers that don't have ultrasonic sensors. If you have an N for the tenth spot of your VIN, then it's still a 2022 year model...

My wife got a text from Tesla saying that her car left the factory! We're on the east coast and still have an EDD of Oct 23-30.

The tenth spot in the VIN tells the year. N for 2022. P for 2023.The letter O is skipped because of its resemblance to zero.
