There are rear door releases in the model 3 they just aren't something that you can get to very quickly in an emergency if you look in the door pocket you'll see a little panel that needs to be flipped open inside there is what you have to pull to release the door.

it doesn't use (and couldn't) an obd adapter. even the obd adapter isn't using obd protocol with a Tesla (just extended commands). it monitors 2 different CAN buses (which no obd2 adapter I've ever seen can do) and speaks Bluetooth to the phone /tablet to their app.

I'll be using an old phone and removing it when I leave the car. I simply don't want to have deal with switching apps and when I get a call it going away. I use my phone key, this I could stash away.

I saw the NVX (and met someone who has one).. Said didn't go low enough.. went with a jl microsub+... plenty loud/low and lives i in my otherwise unused "sub trunk". heh.

My Nissan Leaf had Homelink in it and it worked on both a gate that uses changing codes and a basic garage door opener that had dip switch security. That looks really good. I thought about maybe doing it but then I wasn't sure because of how I've seen results of other light strips people have used and I remember many years ago when people were actually using Neon and the Fiasco that was.

My M3LR is a 2021 that I got delivered in October of last year and it has the Matrix headlights fyi.

Those pictures above are basically the 'factory connectors'. I can take some pics myself if you need, but there's no numbers on them (say AMP part numbers or such). I have access to the svc manual now (since they've made it free), but not sure if that or the part catalog would even give those...

Looks good.. I had debated on adding deadener to the sub trunk (where I just installed my JL Microsub+).. but considering it's basically an echo chamber otherwise I figured why not. Did you notice any difference with it?
