It’s worth doing the math. In my case, even though there’s a reduction in tax from trade in, Tesla was so low that I got more than the difference from “give me the vin”.

Lots of VINs. Got mine today as well. OD 7/29 Chicago area. Of course, EDD 9/26-9/30 and I’m out of the country 9/25-9/29. Spoke with the SA and he was all ready to put me back in the queue already. Geez. So I’m hoping that they come to their senses and this works out for 9/30 but who knows.

Thanks for this info. I couldn’t get the configuration online to work but I got a hold of a guy named Brian there who was super helpful. These fittings are only available in stainless so if someone else is trying online, choose stainless. Otherwise same price and same or next day turnaround.

I went on FB marketplace and found some 19” wheels with decent winter tires already on them (maybe two seasons more of tread) for $600 from someone with an M3P moving to Texas. I had to buy BLE TPMS sensors and swap for $60 at discount tire but overall pretty good deal I think.

Wet paint, not powder. My understanding of the process is: - Masking - Surface Prep (Media blast? Not sure on this one) - Primer -> Color -> Decals -> Clear -> Ceramic coat They’re a pretty reputable shop in the BMW world, I found them via a different forum.

They’re brand new. But I’ve just found a decent local place that does a lot of work with BMWs and will prep and wet paint with decals and a clear coat for $450 without the need to disassemble. Best I’ve found so far and certainly easier than disassembling. Now I just need those rotors…

I’m looking for someone’s experience with disassembling the CTS calipers for powder coat and the reassembly. Specifically if you were able to disassemble without damage to the seals or if you replaced, what P/N was used as a seal kit?

I’ve gotten the yellow CTS calipers and I’m now looking for a place to powder coat them but I’m coming up with prices around $1200-$1500 for Brembo red (to match the rear) and a clear coat over a decal. Anyone have recommendations that are less than that before I have a go at spraying it myself?

Hey @drpheta - Appreciate the pic. Since you’ve been running this way for a bit, is there any abrasion between the jacket of the brake line and the wishbone part of that coilover tower?

Not sure I’m much help but I also ordered a couple weeks ago and had a similar Nov-Jan delivery date which just moved up to Oct 7 - Nov 18. I’m hopeful it keeps moving in to September.

I’ve read through these posts and I’m not sure if Girodisc requires 5 more buyers or if they do not because they’ve proven the design with the pioneers here? I am waiting on my M3P and starting to gather parts for occasional track use, a bigger brake kit is one of the things on my list.
