I had a similar problem one time with another bank. I think it had something to do with the fact I have a credit freeze (highly recommended) and for some reason they felt like I wasn't who I said and documtented I was. Strange!

How can you tell the vin is from Austin?

True. But the MY I have configured cost $11,000 more than the M3 configured somewhat identically (without the premium wheels). The credit lowers the price closer to what I am confortable paying for the vehicle.

It is my understanding the credit applies for vehicles purchased beginning January 1, 2023.
