ll.If the HOA was willing to put WiFi in the garage (v.unlikely in my case), wouldn't there be a problem downloading from a public wifi with all its attendant risks? Does Tesla use a vpn for downloads?- NONAME NOHOW

I have exactly the same problem. Asked Tesla cust svce how to deal with it, but he said never heard of that issue! Huh??? I'll 75% of Tesla owners live in larger urban areas, and of those, and least 25% (WAY more in SFO, Manhattan, Miami Beach, Chicago...) live in hi rises w/subterranean...- NONAME NOHOW
