As a London based private hire driver mainly doing Uber & using a Black MY, I can confirm this is the biggest problem I face when picking people up. 99% of the time I have to put a window down to explain how to get in, then they are reaching in through window looking for the internal door handle...

Get them to quote on rebalancing all the wheels and then once you got a price just ask them to swap fronts to back etc ;)

I wonder if this is related to the issues with the pinch guard, would window have continued if there had been someones fingers there? Definitely be looking for Tesla to be sorting that under a warranty claim, have you checked the pinch guard is working correctly? I would use something soft...

Tough break, where it's positioned near the edge is a no repair, but I would hazard a guess the screw is not that large, so you may be lucky that it has not gone through far enough to deflate. Take it out and see if air escaping if so screw it back in and get new tyre. 🤞 hopefully not punctured.

Hi @Oxstock I think you'll find that Tesla may supply touch pens etc, but i don't believe they will be supplying paint on a commercial basis ie x litres, manufacturers haven't operated that way for decades now, its all computerised and 99% of bodyshops have their own paint mixing rooms to make...

As @yessuz says the paint should not be an issue, paint colours have a set mix formula made up of a range of different colours normally made by adding a specific weight of each of the coloured pigments which gives them the exact factory colour & shade etc

The bumper is not a critical part that should need a Tesla approved bodyshop to do anything special etc, after all it's just a piece of plastic and the parking sensors just pop out for the repair and repaint etc, obviously if it involved any work to the High Voltage system then go with the Tesla...

Try another bodyshop for a repair quote and ask how long it would take them to do, subject to how busy they are that repair should only be maybe 10-12 hours labour, but it's been a long time since I worked in a bodyshop, no harm in asking for other quotes etc

Any decent bodyshop should be able to repair that no problem, £2K is taking the wee wee. good luck 👍 If it's going through insurance for other car etc, theres no benefit in you paying to repair your car, id let the insurers engineer argue the cost with the body shop over replacement or repair etc

Repairs will definitely be over £750 I see no reason that your Model 3 can't be repaired at any approved bodyshop, should be able to easily repair that Qtr panel and bumper depending on what assessor agrees with Bodyshop etc If time is an issue just tidy up the panels by T cutting the damaged...

Try adding in as way points Perl Germany, Pirmasens Germany & Kehl Germany, this should cut down your Tolls to only Swiss Vignette (Road Tax) and the Italian Tolls down into Milan. I have not checked any charging options on this route, this was a favoured route in my Express Van delivery days...
