No, I only had basic autopilot. I made the upgrade so I can purchase FSD. My understanding is that since you already have HW3, if you decide to upgrade to MCU2, you should get the cheaper price point ($1750) for it- car_go_wee

Updating for posterity - Spoke to the manager at the SC and they were able to correct the estimate. Verified that AP3 comes with the MCU2 upgrade- car_go_wee

Hey All, My Vehicle: - 2017 Tesla Model S - AP2.5 - MCU1 I recently set up an appointment at the SC to have my MCU upgrade from MCU1 -> MCU2, I also requested to have the FSD computer (AP3) installed so that I can subscribe for FSD.
