I had this exact same thing happen to me. America's Tires (Discount Tires) repaired it for free, which surprised me. For the record, I've had great experience with them in my pre-Tesla days.

Agreed, no need to replace. This happened to me on my minivan. I took it to the local America's Tire shop (which has always done me right in the past) and they said that this damage is superficial, and not worthy of replacing the tire. That was >10k miles ago. Kudos to them for not selling me...

Mine said this until this morning, when I got a VIN. It updated my delivery to 1/3 to 1/12. An hour later, I was able to schedule delivery for tomorrow. Hope yours updates fast!

I just received this information in a text from Tesla.

Same situation here, same config. The last text I received was eight days ago: "Tesla Update: Hi, your Model Y will be available for delivery soon." Really hoping to get this car before the end of the year.

I got that same text yesterday. I'm now considering a trade-in (I didn't select that when I ordered), but I'm hesitant to change anything on my order after waiting this long. I suppose I'll ask once I'm contacted by Tesla.
