I logged into the Orbi system and turned off the 5ghz network, and that seemed to allow the Gen 3 Wall Charger to see and connect to the Mesh network. I now need to test it tomorrow morning to see if it remains connected now that it has successfully connected at least once. Fingers crossed!

Did this work for you? I have just had my Gen 3 Wall charger installed today but finding it impossible to connect to the WiFi. It wont even find the Orbi mesh network, Will only find my Virgin router, which it too far away to maintain a stable connection so drops out whilst trying to connect...

Sounds like you're in the same boat as me. I have tried every method of finding a VIN. I ordered 31st July, MYLR in Blue, and now been updated to 6th Dec-21st Dec, but only progress has been a test from Tesla yesterday. Online chat tole me that i haven't been assigned a VIN as of yet as well...

I've just tried to check for a VIN and still nothing for me if that helps in any way. More waiting and I expect another change (or couple of changes). But i know lots of people on here have been waiting far longer than this, so no complaints from me.

I was on the fence between a Tesla Gen 3 charger and a Hypervolt, but news like this makes me think maybe its safer to go with Tesla in the long term in case other companies like Andersen go bust over the next few years and stop support/warranty? What does everyone think?
