I'd text back. I've found them to be very helpful in arranging a trade-in (which I'd not done when ordering the car).

Does anyone know if you can add a trade-in to your order when you didn't select that option at point of order? Also, what are people thinking of the Tesla trade-in offers? Am I better off looking at WBAC or Motorway?

Have you just screwed the plate to the bumper using the existing holes then or have you stuck standard plates on? I'm curious as to (legal) options that don't include the standard holders.

I think they are* as long as they conform to British standards. You can find places online that will make you a plate that conforms (they claim) to British standards and for which you need to provide documentation. The key is that they are reflective, the correct size and have BS AU 145e...

Yep, I'm in the same boat 😁 Found VIN on 1st, text message on 2nd. My EDD is still 24th Nov - 9th Dec. EDD would line up with RCC Europe. I don't know if VINs found at the start of the month were for Summit or Europe? 🤷‍♂️

Just had a look. Can't see it in the app but if I go to Tesla UK on my phone's browser, login, then select Model Y as if to configure a car, then yes, the chat icon appears bottom right of the screen.

It popped up for me but only when I was logged into my account. So log into your account and then go as if you're looking to configure an order for a new car. The chat icon pops up in the bottom right.

Have you spoken to Tesla about your options? Would increasing the PCP deposit change the acceptance? They would be getting more money upfront so lower risk.

Nope, I've just tested that and it doesn't work for me. I use the plugin in Brave (or you can use Chrome).

You ordered in May, I ordered at the start of June. It's getting closer to me.... surely. Watching this thread this afternoon has me constantly checking my phone for txts/emails.

I ordered MYLR - MSM, black,19s on 4th June, Manchester collection. Watching people get delivery dates makes me wonder if my order's been forgotten :( EDD has moved from mid Sept, to Oct, November for ages and now 1st - 17th December.
