Another positive update! Within 2 hours of getting my VIN morning I completed all paperwork and insurance (went with Tesla). Decided to text my advisor out of curiosity only to find out my Model 3 was already ready! Advisor offered to pick up Sunday. I gladly took!

No we don't own a car at all. I think I will be looking for short term rental like Turo or getaround while waiting. Thank you. I was looking at Turo and other non-EV rental. That sounds like my best course of action right now.

Umm I think the date hasn't updated to show the real date yet because my order is so new i.e. I expect it will get pushed back to Dec - Jan at earliest due to supply chain delay. Is that still the correct thinking? Or has delivery date improved recently?
