Got the car back yesterday. Good service from Long Beach Tesla. Better than previous experience. They pushed to get it done early since I told them I was out of town all this week and didn’t want to be charged for not returning the loaner.
Using Teslogic, battery deg doesn’t look much improved...
Interesting update on this one. Ran the car for about a month and used the built in battery health cycle where it drains fully and recharges. No real change to life. A week ago the car stopped closing contactors reporting external isolation fault. I checked the values and they were actually 2x...
One concern is definitely restarting a short fuse close to warranty ending. Car has 78k miles and yes the cycles reported are 1/3 of the old pack but 20% degradation does suck. I did search around and read Teslas warranty terms about ‘similar pack health from before the fault’. Seems like a good...
I just received my 2019 M3 sr+ back from Tesla after a failing HV pack displayed BMS code a066 for a few days, then eventually stopped charging. With Teslogic I could see a 30%+ degradation and a large cell voltage min max. Displayed max range was below 180 miles.
The dealership agreed it...
Selling my Aeros with tires with excellent life and tpms installed for pre-bluetooth cars. Wheels are painted and there is some curb rash chipping on two wheels that I never got around to touching up. Make an offer, picked up in Hacienda Heights CA.
But the question is could the square silver driver module screwed into each headlight be transfered to the new ones and potentially work. I'm aware the hardware and wiring is just power, ground, and linbus
Sanity check, are the pre and post matrix headlight driver modules interchangeable physically? Reading through teslas R&R on headlights and it says to swap the driver module over with no specification on headlight type
Tried today. You can unplug the headlights and connect a different set by just removing the frunk. Plugged in the Matrix lights and no workie, obviously. Tried multiple combinations of software reinstall through service and just got these errors.
Wondering if anyone has seen the same thing. I have 3 garages on my MyQ and one powered gate. The gate is where I actually park my car. When logged in, the car detects the 3 garages but not the gate I actually need. All of them work in the app and I have for quite a while
Im still getting this issue too. Android. Scheduled departure from home and work. Climate is absolutely not running while I'm at work based on the temperatures in the car but I still get notifications for "Climate turned off because..." every day
Well that's would be why. I went from leaving my house at 5:15am to 4:15am. So the answer is it will never work. Bit disappointing. Thank you for the help
Hi all,
The automatic navigation feature in my car picked up my home to work routine within about 3 days of saving the addresses and doing my routine. About a month ago my job changed it schedule and we now arrive one hour earlier and leave 1.5 hours earlier. Over the past month I have tried...
Here's something to know about anything aftermarket for Tesla that involves software.
Until stated that a new update has been tested by the developer of your aftermarket part, you can virtually guarantee that you will have problems updating to the latest tesla software. Tesla changes a ton of...
Noticed today with latest car software and app that power availability showed 110% at 80% battery and 100% at 35% battery, when it would previously show maybe 85% power
Also. As someone that takes the car to the track and comes from motorsport, what I liked about the screen I previously designed was readily available tire temperature and pressure. I know they're in the CAN. If those could live on the track screen where the g meter is that would make the...
My temperature units set in the system is Fahrenheit, but the app is showing Celsius. I do not have the latest tesla update. Celcius persists after repairing and toggling the system setting. Also I don't quite understand what the map screen is supposed to do. I have not been able to find a way...
I've been watching the screen that shows power distribution across systems. They don't seem to quite make sense to me. Battery heating seems directly tied to motor power delivery, showing about 2kw at cruising and about 15 at full throttle. 0 when stopped. Also when I manipulate climate I see...
Device worked pretty well for me. I noticed the total vehicle miles in information is showing the value in km, even though it says miles. I'd also like to have some configurability with the data points on the screens. I'd think that anyone nerdy enough to be interested in the info from this...
When I charge anything over 80% I lose some regen power, with almost nothing from 90+. Love the update and don't know why it took this long. I always thought it was crazy that the car drives differently and would unexpectedly just not slow down because you're charged higher
Tried multiple times this week to talk to my closest dealer with no luck. Called multiple times trying to reach the parts department and each time it was voice-mail, saying to reach them by email. When I tried that, I got an auto reply saying I was not allowed to email that recipient because...
Right I totally don't disagree with the fact of doing it correctly and getting at least stock tesla links, it's just slightly annoying when that still costs more than the entire rest of the bars combined. But yes still worth for safety and possible issues of a cheap link
I'm soon adding stock performance sway bars to my RWD model 3. Has anyone found a cheap source for a specific or universal set of sway bar links that work for the rear end? Or at least have the general specs for length and thread size for the stock ones. Thanks
Just ordered mine from this forum thread. I had previously developed my own MPP like race dash using an ECUMasters ADU7 and my own printed bracket. It was nice but a bit large, blocked the airflow too much, and software updates would break some of my can messaging like stator temp recently...
These were bought new by me and on the car for about 3 months. I loved the comfort, but due to my use of the car i switched to the firmer sport adjustables. Located in Los Angeles/ Orange County area.
