    I just wanted to add that on my car I had to bypass the main cabin coax cable as well as the camera didn't work even after new harness.

    Update on my issue - after visit to Electrified garage and another Tesla service center and having the SC done the camera was still off. Tesla now tries to change the 3.0 hardware and charge me 2k! I decided to give it one last shot and bypassed the body coax cable so I got another 10 dollar...

    Due to the size of the Fakra connector you won't be able to fish it unless you get the proper tools to install the connector on a freshly cut coax.

    Hi and thank you for this post. I have installed the cable same way you did but I can't get the rear camera to boot up. I tried all resets including disconnecting both batteries. I ordered a used rear camera from ebay to see if that will do. Any ideas on what this could be? Thank you.
