Doesn't anybody here have any type of contacts in Tesla? It would be great if we could get at least a confirmation that they are investigating how to fix this

Definitely the noise is quite similar. BUT, the noise I have is clearly hearable from inside the car, driving at 60mph. And that video is with the car stopped and requires you to put the phone close to the source of sound in order to hear it...

Someone said months ago that Tesla engineers where looking into it to arrive at a standardized fix. Nobody has news on this?

Thanks! My hope is that at some point this gets documented and its resolution standardized... and I hope that happens before my warranty ends!

Any updates from anybody? Temperatures have lowered here in Madrid, and the noise is back. I still have 2 years of warranty ahead, so I'd rather have a confirmation that this is going to be definitely fixed before taking it again to service

Exactly the same issue happened with my Model Y 1 month ago. The manual "touch" opening was failing, so they came to replace the charging port. The new one is slightly missaligned and the light leaks a bit just like in your picture. Did you just decide to live with it? Or did you fix it?

If it is an "oil thing", it makes sense that the noise comes up mostly during cold temperatures and goes away when temperatures are higher. But what sense does it make for it to be present mostly (or only) around 80-90 km/h, and gone at other speeds? I don't see how that fits in the oil theory

I read on this thread that "Tesla engineers were looking into it"... Let's hope they've come to a conclusion by the time the cold is back... Has anybody heard anything from Tesla?

My noise is completely gone during the summer... Any chances it won't be back after it?

Hopefully soon I'll find out about the real root cause for this noise, and how to fix it, thanks to this thread. Fortunately I still have 3 years of guarantee for my Model Y, so as soon as Tesla seems to be aware of it and how to fix it, I'll take it to the SC again

why? as it's been said here already, my guess is that almost all Tesla cars have this noise, but most people don't notice it or don't consider it annoying

Model Y 2022 (Spain, made in China). The same noise when driving 85km/h - 100km/h. Took it to SC and they just said it was too mild to take any actions, and they made a recording of it.

I recorded this video, where you can listen to the AC compressor of my MODEL Y 2022. I've placed my phone close to the front wheel (from outside it is not that loud). Would you say it is normal? Thanks everyone.

Anybody with this squeaky noise? It produces clicking noise when driving. It is a Model Y 2022. Less than 7 months and 6.000KM. I took it to Service Center (Spain) and said that "nothing was found broken, so this is considered part of Tesla's quality standards". So dissapointing... Thanks a lot...
