100% this. If I actually got the 351 Mile EPA range on the highway my car was sold with (‘21 M3 LR AWD w/19”) I’d be a happy clam. Versus the 240-260 of actual, real highway range at normal highway speeds.

I almost had a panic attack when I heard the whirring during the upgrade (around 60% complete). But after a few minutes it stopped and I haven’t heard it since. 28.1 installed. Still charging after commute. No audible noise/sounds.

In the Northeast, in the Autumn there are often ICE car fires when folks park on top of piles of dry leaves in the gutter. The catalytic converters can set the leaves on fire.
