Searched a while to find repeater camera removal video that shows the gap at the top of the camera housing even before removal has begun. Maybe mine was always this way and I never looked close enough. I guess the chrome was blinding my eyes 😉

Thank you for this information. The updated repeaters are the latest revision so I assume they would be properly sealed in the back. It makes sense if they were really worried about this issue, they would include gaskets for the housings.

Thank you for validating my concern. I will ask Tesla service to have another go at it. I will look at other options for the chrome trim before putting the old ones back on. The old covers have the Tesla logo stamped in.

I laid the old chrome covers over the new cameras and no overhang unfortunately. It doesn’t look obvious from a couple feet away. I was concerned about dust, dirt or water getting in behind the front quarters.

I do one extra thing after cleaning coils and changing filters, both the cabin filters and the pre-filter. I spray microban down the tunnels that open to the rear floor vents.

Drive LR for a month in Chill mode. Turn Standard back on and it does feel like you bought Boost. Try it, it works.

Bought used 2020 M3LR in Oct 2022. Very bad smell! Changed to charcoal filters and used Klima cleaner. Added water dam under frunk hood and Farmogo air inlet filter(best air flow). Has been over a year and no smell at all.

Just tried Service mode on 2023.32.9 All categories of Vehicle Info seem to access and display fine except Service Alerts, just spins and spins…. Reboot doesn’t help.

This is true. I have also found that it is permanently split. There doesn’t seem to be a way to adjust the drivers side and passenger side at the same time when the passenger is in the car. Unless I am missing something?

So far 2023.20.4.1 has fixed the “media source” issue. Been 2 days working properly.

Just got back from an 875 mile round trip to San Carlos MX with this config. Perfecto! No back, bum or leg issues at all.

Farmogo after 6 months! Glad I have it and glad I just changed it out. All that crud would have been in my lower filters. I put the white box next to the old filter to compare the color white it should be.

No. I’m sure it’s a software glitch. When Apple Music app first came out for Tesla, it would start the music when a door was opened even though you had paused it before you got out. That got fixed in a subsequent software update. So I’m optimistic this will be addressed down the software road.

Same issue with my 2020M3LR and latest software. Only thing that fixes it temporarily is to log out and log back in. Then it works for a day or less. Keep getting “Select media source”. However I can play Apple Music through my phone Bluetooth like the old days🤔

Yes. Hulu live does this in my 2020 M3LR. Only on live TV. Recorded shows stream fine.

I bet that’s why the retrofit option check back early 2023 that used to pop up on my Tesla app disappeared this morning.

Interesting thing is that it works like it should with the factory “Streaming” app but not with new Apple Music app.

Bottom line is if you pause it before you get out of the car, this means you don’t want it to automatically turn back on if a door opens, period.

They have also added some new features when you sign up. Note works with vehicle’s mobile data now.

Latest update did not fix the Apple Music coming on automatically when a door is opened. Update is 2022.44.30

Agree, this is an Apple Music or Tesla bug with integration. It is annoying as after you pause the music when you get out of the car, either by display or steering wheel, when you get back in the music starts automatically. This doesn’t happen with Spotify.

I would get the deflector and not allow intake filter to get wet. I can literally spray water all over my windshield when I’m washing the car and nothing at inlet gets wet😀

Farmogo works very well and doesn’t restrict. I also have the after market full water deflector under the frunk hood that doesn’t allow water to get to the air intake.
