    For anyone in this situation, call a Tesla Store. That is who helped us out. They sent us an email and we just had to attach the Registration or Bill of Sale with our Drivers License copies. It should take 3-5 business days.

    Right, but when the previous owner doesn't reset and clear it from their app it wont work. We cannot upload anything. We get an error: Unable to claim ownership. Check the VIN, which we did, call previous owner...we do not know who that is. We are stuck.
