    Help, can I do solar without "grid-tie"?

    I know this is an old thread but I am in a similar situation and I think I may even be with the same electrical company (MVEA) based on your location and description. Just curious if you were ever able to figure this out and get the Tesla solar system? I have a number of other companies...
