If you look at the top of the image you can still see the "Navigate" search bar which is on the maps behind the Dashcam interface menu. Before the recent update, the dashcam interface would come up all the way and you wouldn't see that.

The service team did advice me to use the "report bug" feature on the voice commands when it happens so if you are having the similar problem I would just suggest doing the same.
