Was just there last week - when the whole area is snowed in, hard to navigate to that uncleared patch. In deeper snow, would be hard to access - I hope Tesla has snow removal contractor lined up, since this patch of pavement doesn't touch any other pavement or road.

Yep - I wouldn’t count on making 350 km from Edmonton at prairie highway speeds of 120 kph in my new MY LR even in summer. Really hoping Whitecourt is announced soon.

Bought the wrong one, needed 6-50. Sadly, I opened it, but it has never been plugged in or used. $60 CAD new; selling for $45 CAD. Located in Calgary AB.

This was right away after a 25 minute drive and it didn’t help. For me it’s not important as I’ve got Level 2 and heated parking in 2 places around town the car mostly lives at but was a good experiment to know limits of Level 1 in deep cold.

My experience in -25 C in Calgary this week is a 120 V plug will be used for near 100% battery warming / pre-conditioning only, but will maintain SOC only. No charge gains possible.
