    Supercharger - Valleyview, AB

I did a trip to Whitecourt from Calgary in my MYLR in Nov 2022. NB: I started from home at 95%, and initially projection was I'd make it to the (then only) Southgate 150 kW Superchargers in Edmonton. Approaching Red Deer, the projection changed, and the nav asked me to stop and charge at then...

    Supercharger - Valleyview, AB

Was just there last week - when the whole area is snowed in, hard to navigate to that uncleared patch. In deeper snow, would be hard to access - I hope Tesla has snow removal contractor lined up, since this patch of pavement doesn't touch any other pavement or road.

    Supercharger - Valleyview, AB

Yep - I wouldn’t count on making 350 km from Edmonton at prairie highway speeds of 120 kph in my new MY LR even in summer. Really hoping Whitecourt is announced soon.

Vendor TWRAPS MagSafe Compatible charger for 2021-2023 Model 3 and Model Y

Hi! This looks pretty good - what is the maximum power output for each charging puck (likely dependent on then single USB-C port powering them both) in single / combined use?

Would you mind sharing instructions/photos on how to do this?

    Supercharger - Brooks, Alberta

Yeah the lack of L2 right at Tyrell parking lot makes no sense. It would be at least workaround-able if Drum had L3... But both are needed.

    Supercharger - Brooks, Alberta

Yes, I'm especially curious about this given the surprise Kindersley news. We just drove Calgary-Saskatoon roundtrip last week in our MY LR, and had to follow the TCH to Swift Current, then north to Rosetown over to Saskatoon - a 180 km one way distance penalty, 90+ minutes. While Brooks isn't...

Reliable Tire Service in west Calgary

Do any YYC Tesla owners have recommendations for tire shops that won't be a) intimidated by a Tesla (some are for some reason!) and b) are known to have jack pads etc. / know how to safely do tire work on a Tesla, in west or SW Calgary? Looking for something more convenient or mobile than the...

NEMA 14-50 adapter for Gen2 Mobile Connector (open but never used)

Hmm - I ordered a 6-50 already but happy to do this and I can return my new 6-50 - how do we connect? I don't see a private message option on this forum

NEMA 14-50 adapter for Gen2 Mobile Connector (open but never used)

Bought the wrong one, needed 6-50. Sadly, I opened it, but it has never been plugged in or used. $60 CAD new; selling for $45 CAD. Located in Calgary AB.

Is 120v enough to precondition battery in Winter?

This was right away after a 25 minute drive and it didn’t help. For me it’s not important as I’ve got Level 2 and heated parking in 2 places around town the car mostly lives at but was a good experiment to know limits of Level 1 in deep cold.

Is 120v enough to precondition battery in Winter?

My experience in -25 C in Calgary this week is a 120 V plug will be used for near 100% battery warming / pre-conditioning only, but will maintain SOC only. No charge gains possible.

Anyone need an (opened but) unused Gen2 NEMA 14-50 adapter in Calgary?

I actually needed a 6-50 which I have ordered. $60 new - it's unused, never been plugged in, but I did open it up and take it out of the wrap - happy to arrange local pickup/delivery in YYC region at $45.
