Has anyone used Tesery for accessories? I ordered a roof rack for a Model Y but unfortunately they sent the wrong covers :/ They seem very responsive and apologetic - and agreed to send out replacements I just wanted to check if anyone else had used them.

Same, I finished transferring all the monies across only 2 business days before. This was also agreed with Tesla over the phone - who said they need at least 1 full day to generate any paperwork ahead of collection.

We are planning on driving to the French Alps in the MYP but tbh we will probably just pack snow chains. The last time I checked you need either need snow chains - or winter tyres, from a legal standpoint unless things have changed.

Umm.. I specified the date when my insurance should start to align with my delivery/collection date a fair bit in advance. Otherwise how can someone be expected to secure a competitive price for insurance? I'd call Admiral again as it sounds like they are giving you the round around tbh.

I secured my insurance with Admiral, you just need to provide them with your reg number, make, model etc. If Admiral can't locate your car based solely on your reg then they can manually specify it. I'm not sure why the person you spoke said they couldn't do this since you already have a reg...

Did you call Tesla to ask for your reg number? They normally have it way sooner then it shows up on your account.

I looked at direct line - hoping they'd be much cheaper due to their "partnership with Tesla", their quote was ~40% higher than Admiral (secured via a comparison site) :/

Sorry if this has been asked before; is it safe to assume our new MYP will already have mud flaps and PPF already on it? If not, is it worth ordering the PPF listed (£50) on the UK Tesla shop?

I suspect as long as your number plate can be read by an ANPR camera you'll not face any issues.

I'm considering doing this for the front at a later date but I'm a little apprehensive about removing an adhesive number plate when it comes to eventually selling the car. I have nightmares of taking a load of paint off at the same time. 😬

I read below to accommodate the front number plate bracket on a Tesla, number plates for Tesla cars need to be 1mm thick. I'm pretty sure the last time I got an acrylic number plate made up it was thicker than 1mm. :/ Source: Tesla Number Plates | The Truth About Tesla No1 Best Plates.

Does anyone know if Tesla will make up private (number) plates for you after collecting the car? I know they will not do it before taking ownership of the car. If possible, I'd prefer to avoid having to visit Halfords to get a set of plates made up that "hopefully" fit in the Tesla number plate...

I I just found a MYP red/white on Telsa's existing Inventory web page and quickly called them up again. I've changed my order to this one. Finally collecting from Bristol on Tuesday 29th November! Hopefully the kids will not absolutely trash the white seats! 😬

Thanks for advice, after checking it seems I don't have a VIN listed here either. I called Tesla up again, they said check back when them the first week of Dec?! So it seems the EDD date I currently have is absolute rubbish:/

😭 My EDD is now only a week away but I still don't have a Vin or text (21st Nov - 7th Dec).

Tbh I received such a poor trade-in offer from Tesla, l'm selling my current car back to the dealership I originally bought it from.

My EDD has just changed again. It's been pulled forward to Nov 22 - December 07 (from Dec 21 - 31). That said I still don't have a hidden VIN or text.

I agree. Even if Tesla fully crack autonomous driving in the US in the not too distant future I can't see the UK being the next inline. Tesla would probably prioritise getting FSD to work seamlessly in mainland China or Europe (Germany?).

Tesla UK have a few to buy immediately on their website. Is your spec different to these?

I called Tesla today given my EDD recently slipped to 21 - 30 Dec. The gentleman I spoke to informed me that they are anticipating at least two further shipments from China that are yet to matched to VINs to UK orders this quarter. He also mentioned VINs typically start getting matched ~30 days...

A grey MYP is very tempting - but I feel I've come this far it's hopefully not much longer to wait for a red one.

My date just slipped from 11 - 31 Dec '22 to Jan -Mar '23. Red/Black MYP. :/ Ordered beginning of Sept.

The EDD for my MYP (Red) is now showing Dec 11 - 31. Hopefully it will still arrive this year.

5YJ = Fremont, LRW = China, XP7 = Germany Manufacturing Plant. I believe the MYP is coming from China (i.e. LRW). I hope this helps

Mine is now showing Dec 11 - 31. I wouldn't mind it being a little later if it meant getting it in cherry red.
