Additional note. There is a metal receiver built into the body that would anchor the rack mounts to the car. Just be sure to torque the bolts to the recommended spec.

I'm running the tesla oem roof rack with a Thule cargo box for two trips and no issues. Had Tesla service install the rack.

I agree, plus you can get modules on ebay for much cheaper and install yourself.

Just did the install it and worked. Got a 2022 module from eBay. Within Service menu, it was under the low voltage section. Also I have the latest holiday update on my Model Y

I agree, had a BMW X3 and it's similar. Rides well for the 20 inch wheels it has and not like a shopping cart.

Picked mine up yesterday and it was a Oct 20 2022 build. Have the 20 inductions. Rides very well. No Jarring and the ride feels good with damping and no pogo rebounding from the 40's on the 20" wheels.

I had the Service Advisor tell me the Build Date and he also confirmed it was with Comfort Suspension as it was over two weeks past the start of that change from the Freemont factory.

From what's been reported, they are just newer versions of existing cameras just different housings. The 5 MP cameras aren't out yet.

I asked the Service Advisor to look it up.

October 20 2022 build date. Just received my 2023 MYLR with 20" inductions. Ride quality was great! similar to my previous BMW SUV, and this is on the streets of Toronto with roads exposed to 4 seasons of mayhem.

Question for the people who received late 2022 / 2023 Model Y with the 20 inch inductions. How is the ride? Still as harsh? I know for previous years the 19s were the default go to for ride comfort.
