Hello, can you confirm the M3 SR+ is made with LFP batteries? You can find out by "Some vehicles are equipped with a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) Battery. To determine if your vehicle has an LFP Battery, navigate to Controls > Software > Additional Vehicle Information." per the service manual

I read somewhere that you apply for car loan when you get your VIN. My case is a bit special: I applied a few days before VIN assignment because I wanted to lock the rate before the Fed meeting (which is today 11/2).

You should get the VIN soon. My Est. Delivery window was 11/5 - 11/19 on 10/25. Then I got VIN 10/28, and my Est. Delivery window changed to 11/10 - 11/17.

EDD (updated 10/29): 11/10 - 11/17. Received VIN. The next step is to add the new car to my Tesla insurance policy.

I don’t have the VIN when I applied for pre-approval. I am waiting for my VIN too. I think the next steps are: wait for the VIN assignment, sign the purchase contract with Tesla, then close the loan with the lender.

In my pre-approval letter it says “This pre-approval is good for 60 days from 10/25/2022.”

I got pre-approval from AdelFi at 2.8% for 60 mo. It is good for 60 days. Not bad in this environment.
