I may have a limitation on being able to initiate a conversation / Private Message because I am a newer member.

I just checked and I still don't have the "start conversation" button. So, the minimum must be higher than 11 posts, which is what I have prior to this post.

If not, I am hoping that posting on this thread will get me to the limit.

Perhaps they will contact me later today.

I asked the question to the administrator with the "contact us" button.

It would be nice to also have it on the "Getting Started" Page.

I am sure that detail is written somewhere else in some newcomer information.

Unfortunately, the section does not discuss this, even though it is the Getting Started guidance.

I was reading in the "Getting Started" thread under "conversations/direct messaging" hoping that it would tell me if there is minimum post limit.
