Sorry been away and havent been on this forum. I just submitted the invoice as is with the rego papers. I guess if there is any problems, they will reach out. Yet to receive the rebate and been 2 weeks. Any idea what the turnaround time for rebates is?

Has any successfully submitted a rebate for SA? I'm in process of applying but it's asking for a copy of the executed contract of sale. All i have is the invoice and rego papers from Tesla. Is the invoice sufficient?

My allocated car has a build date of 13/12. I see the Don Juan docked in shanghai on 13/12. What are the chances it made it on that ship? How long do ships dock for to load up cars?

Wasnt there rumours people who ordered EAP gets bumped to front of queue as opposed to people without it? I myself wont see the need for EAP. My driving skills will slowly diminish with all these tech added. I still drive a stick manual with no sensors or cameras.

Anyone in Adelaide with Feb/Mar OD receiving delivery soon? It hurts to see the original VIN assigned is in RAV db but the reallocated one isnt with EDD Jan-Feb. What a tease and congrats to the lucky soon-to-be owner getting my original VIN allocation.

Yes if it Yes if it takes 9 months + for your food to come out. I'm only gauging peoples opinion. My mate ordered RS3 in Oct and Audi comms have been great. Taking delivery in Feb. Informed every step along the way, when car was built and allocated, what ship its on, etc. Tesla app is ok...

Based on your experience so far with Tesla, would you buy from them again? The car better be damn good to outweigh the lack of everything from them. Understand its no bells or whistle and purely transactional. Just a bit of comms goes a long way.

Like many others, my EDD has been updated to Jan-Feb range. Tesla has issued me a 5th invoice and noticed they changed the car on me. New VIN, new build date of 13 Dec. Any others out there with same build date? Wonder what ship my car is on now.

We should all complain to Tesla and ask for free supercharging for each month we had to wait from order date to delivery? Seems fair i say. most of us are in the 9-10 months so 9-10 months of free supercharging should be some form of compensation.

If it's really a spare car in inventory, would Tesla really pass it on to the person next in queue who bought it at the cheaper price or hold on to it hoping knowing someone will snap it up at the higher RRP?

I personally don't think its worth the wait. Its more that I've committed for this long now so it a matter of hanging on for that tad longer. I wonder what will come first at this point. The car or the baby im expecting.
