    Less positive X-care experience

Still have xcare (I had bought it for 5 years). At this point I’ve used them three times. Overall not as easy to use as I’d like (including the example above), but on balance I’m happy I had them (would prefer I’m having it to not having it). Unfortunately, I don’t know if any other 3P warranty...

    Less positive X-care experience

Update here - connected with XCare m in response to their reply above. They had their leadership team review the invoice from Tesla and offered to cover both that the wiring issue and also the labor for battery diagnostics with a note “the service advisor at Tesla wrote up the service items...

    Less positive X-care experience

I've seen x-care frequently on this forum, so I figured I'd share my experience as well. I've had mixed experience with them. A few months ago they covered a seat actuator issue, but more recently they refused to cover some wiring issues, even though I can't see an exclusion for that and in...

MX second row seat fold button (for third row ingress) not working

Hey folks, have a 2019 MX with 7 seats (second row is bench seats). The button on the second row seat back that folds the seat partially and moves it forward to allow access to the third row stopped working. Now when I press it I no longer hear it releasing and the seat no longer releases...

Model X Frequent Low Voltage Battery Failure (5 months)

Bought a 2017 Model X in December that had a low voltage battery warning, so had that replaced then by Tesla, just over 5 months ago. The “replace low voltage battery” warning came up again… 5 months seems like a very short life span for any battery, right? Have others run into this issue? What...

Power Frunk motors and wiring Kit

I know it’s been a while since this post. Curious if njhtran, you had any more occurrences of the frunk opening when you didn’t mean it to, or any other issues with the power frunk now that it has been a few years.

Impact of suspension ride height and regenerative braking settings on range and Wh/mile

Not sure if this option was always there, but today when I went to the "service" section in my app I saw an option for "range". When I clicked on it, it offered to analyze a drive for range discrepancy (didn't give me the option to choose which one, just said it would analyze the longest one...

Impact of suspension ride height and regenerative braking settings on range and Wh/mile

So far I've tried adding air to the tires, changing regenerative brake settings (tried on/off but doesn't seem to make a big difference), and signed up for TeslaFi. Here's are some sample rides (I've covered the addresses/GPS data for privacy, but you can still see the elevation changes and...

Impact of suspension ride height and regenerative braking settings on range and Wh/mile

This is very helpful. I added some air to the tires (wasn't "low" before but I added a couple of PSI) which hasn't helped. I signed up for TeslaFi, hopefully that can tell me if the battery heater is on, etc. I'll try preconditioning to see how that improves things! Had to be at the hospital...

Impact of suspension ride height and regenerative braking settings on range and Wh/mile

It seems to go over 1kw/mi anytime I’m going up hills (when I’m on flat ground it’s usually in the 300-400 range). I’ll try the chill mode thing; and maybe take it for an alignment check.

Impact of suspension ride height and regenerative braking settings on range and Wh/mile

Thanks all for trying to help. A few quick follow-ups to answer questions that have come up: - I tried regen on for all my drives today. It seems to help a bit but my consumption remains in the >500wh/mile average. (Weather was 45F, light rain.) - I’ve been trying to not drive too aggressively...

Impact of suspension ride height and regenerative braking settings on range and Wh/mile

Hey folks, got a 2017 used X with ~30k miles. Drive it in a mix of city and highway (more city at the moment) and averaging a very high ~ 530 Wh/mile. (Seattle driving , 40-55 degrees, a little rainy). Have it set to standard suspension and low regenerative breaking (available options are low...
