Hahaha not if you put a nice wheel cover over it. I did one of those to my Acura many years ago and it turned out decent. Especially since doing a retrofit would need MCU mods which it seems pretty hard nowadays
Update here.
I just got word that my estimate has been approved. I can finally move forward with the Tesla service center now.
Thanks Brent and the team. I just wish that the endurance agents could be even half as good as Brent... one can hope!
It seems like it. It's just very unfortunate that I keep having to escalate the issue for progress. But again, Brent is very good and helpful.
Hope things work out indeed
That's good to know. Thanks for clarifying. The agents that I have been working with show up with ENDURANCE warranty ID so that's where the question came from.
The several encounters I had with the endurance agents are nothing but painful. A few of them felt like I was talking to a bot, reading...
Update. The initial fix with Tesla did not fix the issue for the seat. Tesla is recommending additional fix

There's no car that won't break. Honestly, if you take care of them, they will be good
Noticed certain failures during our memorial day drive out of nowhere. Just stopped working
Much appreciated of Brent for stepping in and helping. Things are suddenly moving and so far so good. Fingers crossed 🤞
I am currently using Xcare for a repair. It's been quite a headache so far. Xcare is under Endurance insurance and it's hard to get someone live.
Sent in Tesla repair service estimate. Was told it's approved. Then needed more information. And now I am being told that the tesla quote is not...
Hi,
Just had a tesla PPI done today. It looks quite bare and a few things did show up
This is for a 2016 model s. Are those problems common and how easy is it to fix them?
The car is out of warranty
Cheers
