Interesting, for me 2023.6.8 seemed to make my auto wiper more reliable. Over the prior days of rain in California I haven't had to do any manual interventions to turn the wiper on. But like heapmaster was saying, it could have been regular hit or miss. Will see... more rain coming next week.

Yes, I have gotten this a number of times. I always double check the map and trust that versus the voice. People say the base maps are Google, the navigation is MapBox.

I have the 1641293-00-D, but it does not fold at the lip (only "normal" z-fold). Looking at the photos of the 1641293-97-B online I cannot tell if that one folds at the lip or not.

That is indeed strange that there is no part number. Anyone that has one of these tri-fold parcel shelf, please post a part number if you find one. I so want one of these 😂

Can you get the part number from the bottom of the shelf? My December build is 1641293-00-D. Mine does not have the front lip folding point.

Update on my issue. Turns out the white door trim on my driver door was sitting loose and causing the rattling sounds over hard bumps. I pulled it out slightly and snapped it back in. Seems to solve the issue I was having.

I might be an outlier, I really like the auto-dimmed rear view mirrors at night. On my Chevy Bolt I much preferred the LCD camera mirror over any previous actual mirrors. But the MY rearview mirrors are my favs by far.

For me it works pretty well when there is some light reflection off the windshield, either from streetlights or other cars headlights. At night when there are no lights or cars on a dark road to reflect off the water drops, it thinks all is well as the water builds up on the windshield.

Yes, I should state that I did use a lot of soapy lube with the #0000 steel wool. No way you should use that on glass without good lubrication.

No it did not fix it for me. I guess I have to get used to weaker regen until (hopefully) the next sw update.

I had similar results with Rain-X. On one of my prior ICE cars no issues for years, the other car had the same buildup and issues with the wipers and noise. It took the #0000 steel wool to get rid of it completely, luckily no scratches with that glass. I am probably going to stay away from...

All I know is that Tesla owners in the Dubin area have told me about their horror stories about the Dublin Service Center, so I'l staying away from them. Like SpeedBird, I would appreciate any input on better service centers in the Bay Area.
