Yep. .11 does not contain FSD, bummer.

So someone on Twitter suggested that switching from Advanced to Standard unlocked an update. I tried it and… However, not sure if this will unlock FSD.

Weird that they knew it was bad and came out physically on their own dime but didn’t just bring a spare to swap it out on the spot. Maybe it’s true and they are manually releasing to selected accounts and employees. My safety score is 82 so I’m not holding my breath if they are still using...

Support called me and went through the requirements checklist with me. My recollection is that the latest Tesla app must be installed on your phone (don’t know why) - check FSD be purchased or subscribed to - check New cameras - check Software version higher than 2021something - check FSD Queue...

I’ve been out of town for a few days but car is plugged in and software version is 2022.8.10.8 (according to the app) - don’t think it’s downloaded an update yet since the cameras were done 😕

I’m a software developer and so I had a pretty good idea it was BS or just guidelines they were repeating, which is why I felt like arguing. Ultimately I like that service center and it was so busy that I figured I’d wait - if my VIN hasn’t been cleared for FSD anyway, doing the camera upgrade...

Got the beta request button earlier this month. Scheduled an appointment asking for new cameras (no invitation) and they ordered them and scheduled me for tomorrow. Car is a mid-year 2016 P100D with FSD and MCU1 and I am in the beta testing queue (pushed the button a week ago) Will KYP.

If I were Tesla and seeing this I might blacklist you from supercharging, citing safety reasons, being that your charging system as been modified. Just a guess.
