It uses a lot of energy for the first few miles. Long continuous drives will result in much better wh/mile.

looks like some angry tesla owners here :-) In the end - as some stated - you can't rely fully on the AP, EAP or FSD. You won't be able to rely on those for a long time. Having said that - even standard AP is a game changer. It does 90% of the work one normally does while driving.

I believe M3P has larger brake disks and definitely different ( bigger) performance calipers in the rear than MYP

Both were new, M3P was purchased from stock with EAP bundled. I didn't order the EAP on the MYP because didn't really see 6k benefit based on my experience. Just thought that its getting wasted on the M3P since we roadtrip the Y

K, thanks A bit of a waste - wife ( M3P ) is scared of the EAP, I use AP all the time, and would be nice to actually have the EAP on my MYP instead

Hi, I own both 2023 M3P and 2023 MYP. The M3P has EAP, the MYP only basic AP. Is it possible to transfer the EAP to the Model Y?

this remains me of my former commuting in a Volt. I was paranoid to ONLY drive on electrons, and so was making a game out it to maximize my 30 mile range every possible way Talk about range anxiety :D

Chevy Volt was a brilliant idea. Drop the engine, get the range up to 100 miles ( in winter driving) and price it at sub 20k and people will buy it.

I had my drone packed in the frunk on my way to Florida back in May, At one of the supercharging stops, when i noticed how hot the frunk got, i moved it to the inside thinking those drone batteries are bound to lit up at some point

So this wasn't EV related fire. BTW - both of my E46 BMW's lost to the fire were caused by a known HVAC issue that BMW always denied - similarly to this Zafira. What's wrong with Germans? :-)

Interesting ... I too switched to % from miles, and am far more at ease. Not that I ever had the true range anxiety, but felt irritated seeing miles dissipating quicker than the actual miles traveled

My issue was only related to supercharging - Level 2 charging worked fine Apparently two separate systems ( L2 is AC, supercharging is DC)
