As per my SA, the car has cleared the port, it's waiting for truck transport to Chatswood. So my prediction that it was on Viking Passama was way off. It could have been on Viking Sea or Viking Emerald, and perhaps the Molace tracker wasn't working. Friday afternoon delivery looks likely now.

If this were the case we should have been able to track the VIN on the Mol ace tracker. Since that wasn't the case, I assumed the car is on one of Armacup ships. The VIN assignment aligns closely with when Viking Passama reached Brisbane.

I am in the same boat (Literally :-)). Build date 3/4 and delivery already booked for Fri 18th May. While picking the delivery slot, I was informed that the car will arrive at the delivery centre on 18th and hence can picked up Fri onwards. That was when Viking Passama was scheduled to dock on...

Does anyone know if Tesla includes the Road Side assist with new Model Y. I am scheduled for delivery on Fri. Was wondering if it's worth adding Road side assist to my car insurance if it's not provided by Tesla.

my EDD pushed back a week as well. Now it's May 18 - June 08.

my EDD updated to 10/05 - 31/05. It was 8-29 yesterday. Build date 03/04. Most likely on Viking Passama which is scheduled to dock at Port Kembla on 15/05.

Has anyone been able to track their VIN in the May EDD on MOL Ships? RoRo Just want to make sure the tracking link is working.

I could not track my VIN on the MOL tracker. Hence assuming it's on one of Armacup ships - Paganella or Viking Passama, and not on MOL ships - Viking Sea or Viking Emerald.

My EDD changed as well from 11 May - 1 June => 1 May - 22 May. So it's either Viking Sea or Paganella for me (Syd based). But the VIN doesn't show up on MOLAce tracker. And Paganella is supposed to arrive in Port Kembla on 5/5 as per the Armacup schedule. So I am not sure which boat the car is...

I think it's primarily due to NSW getting a boat load of Teslas (literally). As Viking Sea is headed straight to Port Kembla.

It does say 8A and 12A on the shop listing here - https://shop.tesla.com/en_au/product/mobile-connector I bought one recently as well and I can confirm that the tails have 10A and 15A written on them between the pins.

Interesting observation. Just curious how to find if a ship is carrying any Teslas. I hadn't heard of Viking Sea before your post. Looks like it's headed straight from Shanghai to Port Kembla, with hopefully plenty of cars.

You still maintain your position in the queue. Depending on the availability of that color, you might actually get it quicker.

Unfortunately there's no way to know that information for sure. But based on the latest WuWa Youtube videos, there's plenty of RHD cars waitng to be shipped, which possibly means Giga Shanghai started the export run early.

East coast Armacup ships Don Juan, Morning Cherry, Viking Passama, and Paganella are all due to hit the east coast in April so hopefully there should be plenty of VIN allocations. for me no VIN yet for a 23 Sep RWD order.

I have switched color of MY RWD (OD- 23 Sep 2022) from MSM to Blue. Does any one know if this change will have an impact on the EDD? PS: So far no VIN has been assigned, EDD is still Feb-May 23.

From what I have read, HW4 is quite unlikely in Model Y and 3 until Q2 2024. Tesla did say that UMC will be provided to cars delivered till 31st March. But they have changed their stance in the past so there's a small possibility that April deliveries get it too.

In the last few days I have seen a lot of MYP related VIN/EDD updates, but not much about RWD. Or did I miss those posts. As multiple ppl have pointed out perhaps next 1 week should bring in RWD VIN frenzy.

I wish Tesla had some sort of "Your number in the queue is xx".

The theory is that there was a spike in orders at launch and it's been steady after that. (mostly speculation). MYP deliveries have started just now whereas RWD has been going on since Sep 21. I think getting the delivery in Feb-May, if it said so while you ordered, is quite likely. Model Y...

I ordered on 23rd Sep, RWD, MSM with EDD of Feb-May 23 and there has been no update whatsoever. I am getting tired of giving the same update (no update) to friends when they enquire - when's the new car coming? However there's a consolation that some ICE cars are taking equally long too...

I echo your thoughts. No real benefit of ordering it way ahead in the queue so far. I know Tesla must have it's reasons, but feels unfair. Perhaps something to do with Tesla trying to sell as many cars as possible in (sizeable) markets where they expect serious competition. And surely AU is not...
