This isn't unusual. I'm in Indiana and place an order on 1/17/23 and got a VIN on 3/5/23. It seems that Tesla prioritizes the West and East coasts.

I googled for Tesla VIN decoder. Doesn't go in that great of detail.

Not sure anyone other than the Tesla factory scheduler can really answer this with certainty. There's been a lot of speculation on what it takes to accelerate delivery. The only sure thing is if you snag an existing inventory one.

Sorry to hear that. While my EDD hasn't changed, I'm concerned (actually expecting) to get similar news. I'm also concerned about the tax credit, it was a big part of the reason to jump on this.

You would think so. Maybe our babies will ride on the same truck from the factory, Indy is only a 140 mile ride North on I65 from Louisville.:-D You'd think they'd adjust the EDD start when it passes. Seems like a stale database entry otherwise.
