Took delivery on Earth Day!!! Paint was chipped around the rear bumper. It was noted by the SA, and I’ll be requesting service on that soon. It came in two days early, so I was able to pick it up today rather than Monday.

Has anyone taken delivery of an Austin build recently? Is there anything I should keep an eye out for? My dad was supposed to come with me, but he had to go out of the country last-minute.

My SA said that if there aren’t any delays, it should be there by next weekend. Hoping I can look at it on Sunday while they’re closed and pick it up early that week. Possibly Monday, since it’s my birthday 😊

Is it unwise to complete the financing application before getting a VIN? My EDD is currently 4/14 - 4/28, and I’m not sure if that’ll actually stick. I’m just thinking about locking in the 5.59% right now.

Got the same e-mail, and EDD changed to 4/14–4/28. No VIN. Looks like the price was automatically adjusted.

I just texted the 510 number asking if they could see anything on their end since I'm in my EDD window. The first text I got said, "We can not see anything on our end. Only you have visibility of your estimated delivery time." ??? I got another text two minutes later saying, "Unfortunately, we...

Also, the fact that some people are saying they don’t get any text or e-mail and are just finding out by opening the app… But on the other hand, every time I get a text, I think it might be the 510 number saying I got a VIN

So many people in NJ getting VINs. Did they just forget about PA?

Yeah, I'm thinking about just going with Tesla. I found 3.74% at a local CU, but the reviews are horrible. Did you complete the financing after you got the VIN?

My tint place said that it's 20%. From reading online, I would say that it's somewhere between 20%-25%.

Is anyone financing through Tesla? Or is everyone doing credit unions? I was just going to go through Tesla since I saw that it takes a bit for credit union applications to be looked at.

If you scroll down when looking at the registration information on the app, it'll tell you what your Tesla location is! I've tried to talk to someone on the website before, and they were definitely not helpful.

My SA seems really nice and doesn’t just give generic answers. Is the SA who answers from your specific DC? If so, I guess the reason mine is super nice is because they just became a DC. Months ago, they were only doing service and test drives.

I just asked my SA about soft matching, and this is what he/she said, "At this time, we do not have any available allocations for matching. We will reach out as we get closer to your allocation starting production!"

I got more specific dates on 3/17. So, it took about two weeks, but I don't think it normally takes that long.

I ordered on 3/2, and I got a more specific EDD with date ranges on 3/17. So, a little over two weeks. I just put that I’m paying cash, but in my previous experience, they will still assign a VIN even if you haven’t completed the pre-delivery tasks like entering in the financing information.

Most likely going to sell my car to CarMax sometime this week, despite the horror stories in here. The price is just too good. I wonder how long I’ll end up being without a car for, and if my 4/6 - 5/4 EDD will stick.

I live in PA, and my VIN was assigned 2/8, and that’s the day the car came out of production (as stated by my SA). The EDD is 2/23 - 3/2. They texted me today to tell me to schedule delivery, and the available dates are at the beginning of that time range. I should be able to take delivery next...

So stressful! I’ve been checking the value every week, and it’s been going down by $100 each week until this week. It went down by $600. I just wanted to sell it beforehand to use the $30k as a down payment.

I understand your frustration here. However, I’m not quite sure what you were expecting when you were aware that prices dropped, and there would be a significant demand. I read that demand was two times what they were capable of producing after the price drops. They’re going to try to streamline...

Agreed - I have been seeing a lot of PF684 VINs. I got my VIN yesterday, and it's PF676 but "completed production on 2/8" according to SA. Not sure.

I’m not sure if this is true. I ordered 1/19 and got my VIN yesterday. I had only completed the registration and trade-in information.

I kept seeing Teslas while out today, too 😂 I’m conflicted. I didn’t even buy the wall connector or anything yet because I wasn’t sure if I was going to take delivery.

I ordered the same configuration, but on 1/19. I didn't get a VIN or new EDD yet. I'm also near Philadelphia, and my delivery location is Devon.

My EDD is 3/3 - 3/31. I haven't completed the loan application in the app yet. Should I be doing that now? I feel like I'm getting mixed messages on whether that will affect my EDD or not. I don't want additional credit checks if the approvals are only good for 30-60 days.
