I did get myself a quote for full body ppf last week. I went for mud flaps. If I sell the car next month, next year, in 5 years. Didnt feel like an investment but more like insurance. Like auto insurance that you usually never use.

Yes, the brakes suck. For the weight and performance I get it, read it, living it. But, for the price of admission to CCB, thats not for me. The rapid thrill of launching the car is the the party trick that keeps on giving. Dont go there if you may need to brake hard and in a hurry.

The ultra red paint looks to be applied very well. The only minor issues I found as I stated earlier were likely delivery/transport related. I really scrutinized all the glass today as well and they all look perfect. Out in the sun from every angle helps a ton.

Turns out it was a false alarm. I was able to pick it off with a nail. Service did reply to a text through the app and said they would make it right. Not needed now.

I dont know how Tesla assembles these parts but it seams reasonable to assume they would use some kind of shim/template to assure things line up. Makes me think its a quality of labor or meeting a quota thing. I dont know but I'm on the sideline trying to learn and figure out what I may be...
