QMerit is a rip off. They were quoting me like $2,000 to install the NEMA 14-50 plug. I got my local LICENSED electrician to do it for like $400.

I ended up adding a tow-hitch because the Austin build I was assigned wasn't going to get to me before I left for my honeymoon. I now have a Freemont build with a scheduled delivery of Sunday.

I had a neighbor that did. I think they had 24 hours to note any damage to the car.

Update: So the Austin build wasn't going to get here until after I left for my honeymoon (ugh), so I called Tesla and they matched me to a Freemont build (plus a tow hitch, which meh), and it was just built an hour ago!

I am in my EDD window for like the 3rd time... still no VIN or updates from Tesla :(

I applied this morning and can report back on time it takes to join and get approved. My USAA loan is expiring and I'd like to see if I can get the better rate with the CU.

How long did it take you to apply and become a member?

So for those of you who have gotten Tesla's before, when it's EOQ, are we asked to pick up the car on March 31st or is there wiggle room to say the 26th or 27th?

And my EDD moved...twice today This morning it was 3/2 - 3/15; now it's 3/16-3/31 😭

I'll be honest, I'm getting really annoyed seeing people with later order dates get their vehicles and my SA just keeps stringing me along. I'm in my EDD window for the 2nd time and crickets. There are a whole bunch of MYs sitting at my SC... come on Tesla, get it together.

I feel like I should be 2 days behind you, but in actuality, I'm about a week behind you (even though my OD is 1/18).

I ordered on 1/17 7:07pm Pacific, but order date says 1/18. I'm hoping that this means I'm close. I'm getting married at the end of March and it would be a wonderful wedding gift to myself lol
