Just too dull and too small. I actually liked the old lights, kind of Porsche-esque in my eyes. That being said, neither M3 is a looker IMO. I like the Y and the S. The X....not horrid but the worst of the bunch.

I do not like the new headlights on the M3 at all so I may wait until Fall and hope to get a good deal on a used M3P to replace my wifes 10 year old Mustang convertible. Figure there will be more on the market due to the refresh.

I also had good luck. I traded in a '18 Volt, Tesla gave me the 2nd best quote (got 4) and it ended up being just about tied for the best considering I saved 20k in taxes. A friend of mine traded in a '13 Prius and said they actually gave him 2k more than the next best offer he got.

Yeah I had a Mustang that I put summers on for the warmer months and winters on for the colder ones. I found that once you got around freezing it could be an adventure taking a turn. If I were to buy this car, I'd probably get some all seasons that are performance based and sell the summers.

You are brave. I've seen so many bubbled up or purple do it yourself jobs this is something I would never consider doing. I paid the tint shop $150 to match the fronts with the back on the Y, a little darker than I would have gone with if I was doing the entire car, but it looks nice.

I'd counter both of these points, to each their own. I only leave mine plugged in maybe 40 hours a week. I live in upstate NY, so it's cold. No need to keep it plugged in. I've yet to hear a good reason to do so and I had a Volt for 5 years before this and had no need to do it with that car...

Agreed. The front end actually is the only part that looks decent to me. I absolutely hate the look of the roof spoiler on any vehicle and this has got an enormous one!

As someone who once bought two of the same cars (2014 Ford Mustang GTs) for the wife and I, it eventually turns into wishing you got something different for one of them even if they are awesome cars. Good choice on the colors though, easily the best two Tesla colors IMO.

Yeah I guess I should have clarified "with regular use". In the Volt I never tried to get above the rated 53 but I would often was the point.

Nice that was my last car too, a 2018 Volt. The reason why the Volt only got 4 miles per hour range is because you could actually achieve or exceed the rated range on that car. Has anyone ever done that in a Tesla?

What percentage would you say was highway speeds? I was thinking of buying a jet ski which I would be towing about 150 miles round trip all highway on a regular basis. Wasn't sure if that was feasible.

Supposedly that's why the Chevy Volt's never suffered from any degradation, they were set to only use 60%. I would do this but I believe the horsepower takes a large hit once you get below 50% on the MYLR.

Same here, one of the main reasons I bought a Y was the power. I enjoy performance vehicles and was buying Mustang GT's before this car. So I keep it between 50-80% for the most part. I can't find the chart but I believe 50% and up is pretty much peak performance.
