anyway to defog using the app? the sunrise glare is crazy in the morning when i drop my kid off school. I had to wait 5 mins for the fog to go down. need a better option.

you would think Tesla Support should know this and maybe ask us to change password to even check 3rd party app. but anyways, wasn't happy going thur it, but now i feel good. Also not every suggestion is useful on the internet, it's all matter of you doing a lot of research as well..

wish more people would know this and they don't go crazy trying to troubleshoot, it's not an easy thing to troubleshoot, I was blaming on, Charger, Outlet, Electrician, Adaptor, The Actual Car, never once I was thinking about the 3rd part app. Oh well. it's better late than never.

tesla should at least put this in their knowledge based so all the technicians know this was a possibility because I brought my car in and they just claim it's working fine. and the manager simply told me to get a tesla wall connector.. very unprofessional. Totally ignore my frustration...

I uninstalled EV.energy app. charged twice, no issues yet... hoping that is it.

Not the adapter, I have gotten 2 other ones, same issue. Actually just charged twice last 2 days, and no disconnects at all. So freaking weird.. All I did was uninstall EV.Energy App on the phone.. Fingers crossed. Will update later.

Electrician came back and checked the wires, they are fine.. I gave them the HBL9450A, but the old cover's hole is too small. ahhhh.. What covers do you use for HBL9450A ?

no issues charging it outside in a level 2 charging, I am pretty much narrowing it down to the outlet, (either bad quality or the wiring issue) Ordered a Hubbell HBL9450A and have the electrician installed that on my own expense, and make sure the wiring are all looking good, will report back...

Should the round pin hole (Grounded) be upwards or sideways like this? Did my electrician messed this up too?

I just tried charging, and 5 mins in, it stops.. I checked with Infrared thermometer, no increase in temperature on the outlet or the breaker.

Yup, my friend had his juicebox hardware, never an issue.. if I knew this trouble, I would've gone hardwired. I thought plug ins, I can easily change to another EV charger brand if there are problems.

just purchased a tesla mobile connector as well. going to test that out. I might ended up keeping the mobile connector since it can also charge 30 amps, while i wait for the electrician to come back, I will test the temp.

drdumont - my friend who bought the identical Tesla Model 3 2 weeks after me, came to my house and charged his car, twice, didn't have any issues. that's why i brought the car back to tesla. who tested with three level 2 chargers and no issues found. My friend lives 100 miles away so it's not...

outlet was the hardest thing to test because it's at my house. without proper tools. I think it's likely same as your issue... my electrician said not to touch anything and he will take care of it.

Yes, I tried out chargepoint at the mall, no issues at all. so I think it could be the outlet... need to know a good way to test out the outlet.

I am in NJ, I purchased my Model 3 RWD 2023 around Feb of this year. I bought a Juicebox 40 amp plugin charger and had an electrician installed it for me. I am starting to having some issues with it. So at times it will intermittently stop charging, I had to manually going into the Tesla App...

Intermittent charging problem still happening or me without a solution, I have tried 2 different brand chargers, both same issue... do I have to get a tesla charger? service said I can only get a tesla charger.

i have the same issue, but when i charge my friend's model 3, exact same model, no issues.

NJ Rebate is awesome, no need to worry about getting a check back from IRS, just took it off before you get the car.

i am still waiting for town permits before going ahead with the work, did you guys have to get permits?

costing me $3500 to upgrade and install the juicebox charger. my breaker box is little bit further (25 feet) from the electrici service and the 200amp wire is $20/foot.
