    I just called the US Senate FCU, according to them they're swamped with applications from the weekend. Probably from this forum lol.

    How long ago did you apply? I applied Friday night. You're supposed to get a response in 24-48hrs but I doubt that's going to happen for me.

    Because if the credit goes away you don't get that money potentially on your return next year. It's still $7,500, you're just not getting it till February/March of next year.

    No. They're pretty bad now. 6.49% for 60 month.
